Task Board Types & Visibility

Public Boards:

Public Boards are centrally managed by administrators but allow all users to work with and be assigned tasks. Additionally, these boards are visible to all users of the task application. Tasks may be added and edited by task management group members.

Shared Boards:

Shared Boards are designed for users to create and manage their task boards for project activities. Furthermore, any user can create a shared board and assign membership to other users.

Centrally Managed Boards:

Centrally Managed Boards are centrally managed by admins, who control access levels for tasks (both read and write). Administrators also manage board memberships, controlling who can see the board, the tasks, and who can edit tasks.

Private Boards:

Private Boards have only a single user and are visible only to the person who created the board. However, administrators also have access and can change the board type and memberships.
